About the High Country Beer Fest
Situated in the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains, the High Country Beer Fest is a boutique beer festival. The High Country Beer Fest is a chance to enjoy beer from 40-45 breweries, enjoy delicious food, live music and the crisp mountain air all while frolicking with 1700 like minded beer people.
High Country Beer Fest Breweries
Whether you’re a beer aficionado or a casual drinker, you’ll find something to love from the breweries that have been carefully selected to come to the High Country Beer Fest. These breweries reflect the values of the festival’s mission. They’ve been asked to bring specialty beers that are hard to find on shelves, creating a brew experience unique to the High Country Beer Fest.
High Country Beer Fest Food
Pair your beer samples with food offerings from the vendors that will be on-site. Enjoy barbecue, burgers, chicken, tacos, hotdogs, biscuits and more. These vendors will be creating menus to perfectly pair with the festival’s craft brews. Festival goers can also satisfy their sweet tooth with cookies and ice cream.
More to Do at the High Country Beer Fest
In between sipping and snacking, enjoy the live music, games and more at the High Country Beer Fest. The festival will feature free educational seminars focused on fermented foods. Learn about the fermentation process and sample food paired with Ivory Tower beer.
Head to the lawn for yard games, including cornhole, darts and more. Visit the tents for more games and browse the local vendors selling their goods. Don’t forget to snap a photo in the photobooth.

General Admission
4 hours of craft beer, great music, and good people ($50)
GA w/t-shirt
General Admission with a discounted High Country Beer Fest T-Shirt guaranteed in your size. Only a very limited number of extra shirts will be available at the festival. ($70)
Designated Driver
Come with your friends and enjoy the music and good times but no alcoholic beverages for a reduced rate. Comes with a refillable water bottle that can be filled in the event. Be the responsible one and get your group home safely. ($20)
More Information about the High Country Beer Fest
The High Country Beer Fest will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025 from 2–8 p.m. at the High Country Fair Grounds in Boone. This is a rain or shine event.
