Where to Eat at Tweetsie Railroad

Updated By Chris Murphy

A trip to Tweetsie Railroad is guaranteed to be a full day of fun at the mountain theme park. Be sure to take a break from rides and live entertainment to grab a bite to eat. While the park does allow guests to bring outside food and drinks, you may want to enjoy what’s offered on-site. Tweetsie Railroad’s family-friendly fare ranges from classic snacks and barbecue to plenty of sweets. Here are all of the eateries you can enjoy when you go to Tweetsie Railroad, based on location in the park.

Main Street

Closest to the entrance of Tweetsie Railroad, Main Street is where you’ll find a number of shops, including the General Store.

Tweetsie Palace offers a bit of everything when it comes to snacks, including cotton candy, popcorn, nachos, chips, cookies and more. Enjoy a scoop or two of old-fashioned ice cream, along with other ice cream favorites and milkshakes.

Find classic bites such as pizza, hot dogs, nachos and other snacks at Cowboy Cantina and Feed & Seed. Cowboy Cantina has chili cheese dogs, loaded nachos and old-fashioned and soft serve ice cream for dessert. In addition to hotdogs, cheese burgers and chicken tenders, Feed & Seed also has barbecue platters and sandwiches.

On your way out of the park, stop by Fudge Works for a piece of homemade fudge, as well as chocolates, caramel apples and other candy. Or, grab a freshly made funnel cake and old-fashioned lemonade from The Funnel Factory.

Country Fair

Country Fair is where you can find a majority of Tweetsie Railroad’s rides.

After you screaming on some of the park’s most thrilling rides, quench your thirst at Arcade Refreshments Wagon. This conveniently located cart offers your favorite carnival snacks and several Coca Cola soft drinks.

Those looking for a different kind of frozen treat can get Dippin’ Dots®, the ice cream of the future, within Country Fair and Miner’s Mountain.

Miner’s Mountain

Take the chair lift from Main Street and you’ll arrive at Miner’s Mountain.

Miner’s Diner offers the same fare as Cowboy Cantina, with the addition of barbecue sandwiches and salads. The diner also carries ice cream novelties, but for some of Tweetsie Railroad’s famous ice cream, visit Mountain Ice Cream. Choose from one of the 14 flavors of old-fashioned ice cream, or order soft serve, milk shakes and more.

Tweetsie Railroad Food Allergies/Dietary Restrictions

Guests with special dietary needs should let the food service staff know when ordering so they can best accommodate you.
