Mark your calendars now for the 3rd Annual High Country Jazz Festival. This year’s line-up is “the bee’s knees,” with headliners Brubeck Brothers Quartet on Friday and the Jazzmeia Horn on Saturday already slated to appear at the Appalachian Theatre of the High Country.
The festival features a variety of jazz artists, from local and regional musicians to national and international stars. The festival also features a variety of educational and social events, such as workshops, jam sessions, and a jazz brunch.
The headline events will take place in the newly reopened Appalachian Theatre in Boone with a host of affiliated jazz venues featuring outdoor concerts, late-night jams, jazz lunches, films, and more.
