WATAUGA COUNTY FARMERS MARKET
Every week from May to November you will find quality locally farmed meats, fresh produce, artisan cheeses, dried and fresh cut flowers, hardy local plants, delicious edibles, and a wide variety of quality crafts.
Watauga County Farmers Market has been “Boone’s Town Square” since 1974. Up to 75 vendors offer quality local products in one of the largest and liveliest markets in western North Carolina. Come and visit Saturday mornings from May through November to experience the sounds, smells, tastes, and friendly atmosphere of the High Country.
We have the area’s finest selection of quality produce from local growers, seasonal fresh fruits and berries, local jams, jellies, mustard and honey, fresh baked breads, cakes and pastries from our country kitchens, fresh farm eggs, fresh and aged goat cheeses, locally farmed meats and livestock, fresh herbs and herbal products, fresh-cut and dried flowers, wreaths and arrangements, farm based crafts including wool, birdhouses, pottery, baskets, handcrafted yard art and garden furniture and large selection of plants, including annuals, perennials and shrubs. Look for new and unique items every week, as well as special events, live music, cooking demonstrations, and children’s activities.
