Repair Hub Pop-Up at App State
The Office of Sustainability at App State is sponsoring Repair Hub for an event! Bring your torn or broken household items for repair on Saturday, March 2, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Grandfather Ballroom on the first floor of the Plemmons Student Union.
Repair Hub’s mission is to prevent items from entering the waste stream, preserve the art of repair, and build community through service. Repair Hub’s services are free and include mending, knife and tool sharpening, costume jewelry, small appliances, and lamp repair. If you’re unsure whether Repair Hub can fix your item, don’t hesitate to bring it by for a consultation.
