Mountainfilm on Tour and Winter Carnival

Mountainfilm on Tour is coming to Banner Elk, North Carolina bringing a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and inspiring documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm festival held every Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado.

Held at Hayes Auditorium on the Lees-McRae College campus on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024 the show will explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission: to use the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.

Prior to the film, the college will be hosting a Winter Carnival on Tate Lawn. From 4 to 7 p.m. enjoy sledding, winter games, food trucks, gear shops, and more.
