Horn in the West July 4th Celebration

The stage production of Horn in the West, alongside the Hickory Ridge Living History Museum, celebrates the Fourth of July in a unique way. Hear a reading of the Declaration of Independence then toast with a glass of apple cider, reminiscent of the Toasts of Halifax in 1789. The colonial-style festivities continue with a eulogy for King George III and an effigy burning. Thirteen volleys from black powder rifles will fire to salute the new nation.
