Nov. 16: Holiday Market and Craft Show

Browse an array of handcrafted goods just ahead of the holiday season during the Holiday Market and Craft Show. The event will be held at Watauga High School and proceeds will benefit Skills USA.

Beginning Nov. 22: Tweetsie Christmas

Celebrate the holiday season at Tweetsie Railroad. The Wild West theme park transforms into a winter wonderland for Tweetsie Christmas. Take an evening train rides alongside the thousands of dazzling lights, meet Santa in his gingerbread house, play in larger-than-life snow globe, enjoy live Christmas show and more.

Nov. 29: Blowing Rock Christmas in the Park

Kick off the holiday season in Blowing Rock at the Blowing Rock Christmas in the Park. This free event at Memorial Park will feature an appearance from Santa, hot beverages, caroling and live music.

Beginning Nov. 29: Festival of Lights Opens

Following Christmas in the Park, make your way to Chetola Resort as Blowing Rock lights up at night. Festival of Lights features thousands of illuminating lights around the resort. Walk or drive around Chetola Lake and view the dazzling displays. Festival of Lights is free and open to the public.

Nov. 30: Blowing Rock Christmas Parade

The Saturday after Thanksgiving marks the start of the Christmas season in Blowing Rock. The Blowing Rock Christmas Parade will make its way down Main Street. This small town holiday parade is one of the longest in the state and features floats, music, antique cars and more.
